Tangy Potato wedges

"Let's much on some delicious tangy potato wedges,what say!??

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes-4
  • Garlic cloves-6
  • Green chillies-4 medium sized
  • Oyecurry tomato powder -3 tea spoons
  • Oil for frying
  • Red chilli flakes -1tea spoon 
  • Oregano-1 tea spoon
  • Red chilli sauce-1 tea spoon 
  • Slurry of corn flour -1/2 bowl(1 &1/2 teaspoons of corn flour in half bowl of water)
  • Salt to taste

Process:

  1. Peel,wash and cut potatoes into neat equal sized wedges.
  2. Fry them in small amounts on medium flame untill cooked and golden in colour and remove on a tissue.
  3. In a pan heat 2 teaspoons of oil and add finely chopped garlic and chillies,stir.
  4. To this add the slurry of corn flour and mix rapidly untill it comes to a boil.
  5. Add chilli flakes, oregano, chilli sauce and stir.
  6. Add Oyecurry tomato powder and mix.
  7. Adjust the water content as per your wish.
  8. Add the wedges into the mixture and toss and roll them into the tangy masala mix.
  9. Serve hot with a cup of masala tea!!
  10. Note-The wedges can be coated with corn starch or rice flour to make the wedges crispy and crunchy.
