Busting myths about vegetable powders

Myth: They don’t have nutrients.

Properly dried vegetable powders retain most of the nutrients of fresh vegetables, especially when dried at low temperatures. Their is 10%-20% loss of nutrients.

Myth: They look dull, so they must taste bland.

We are so use to daily normal routine that anything outside if it ever arrives, seems skeptical to us. When it comes to we eating healthy food, people often ask "are you on diet?", but eating healthy should be the norm, not the exception.

When it comes to vegetables' powder, people frown upon seeing the quantity that would be required to cook for one person.

Vegetable powders are concentrated, flavourful, colourful, and just as tasty as fresh vegetables.

Just one spoon of any powder is enough for one person. It will give the same texture as the vegetable in its natural form.

Myth: You can’t replace fresh veggies with powder.

To an extent it is true, but let's not forget that not all vegetables are available at all places. Arab countries don't have access to vegetables. Vegetable powders are a smart and sustainable solution for them.

Myth: Only chefs and food manufacturers use them.

Using vegetable powders is easy. Just add one spoon to any dish that is in preparation. Don't cook powders since they are already cooked.

Myth: They are full of preservatives.

Not true—at least not in our case. Oyecurry’s products are completely free from preservatives.
